The Facebook starred reviews feature is a star rating system that allows anyone with a Facebook account to write a review on your Facebook page and fill in the number of stars (total of five) that reflect their experience with your business.I've successfully added the review tab to the NairaForSMS Facebook page and I've decided to share with you in this post, how you can also add reviews to your Facebook page.
To let people post ratings and reviews on your Page, you'll need to choose Local Businesses for your Page's category. You can read how to change the category of an existing page to Local Business category here.
If your Page's category is Local Businesses:
- Click About below your Page's cover photo.
- Click Page Info in the left column.
- Click to edit the Address section, add your FULL physical address and click Save Changes.
- Click to edit the Address section again. Below the map, click to check the box next to Show map, check-ins and star ratings on the Page.
- Click Save Changes.
You might have to log out and log in to see the reviews tab. You might also have to tell a friend to check for you and probably write a review before you can start seeing it on your page. Some users claim that you might have to wait for at least 24 hours before you can see it on your page.
I noticed the review tab on NairaforSMS Page, the day the first rating was posted on it.
Keep in mind that if you later change your Page's address, you won't lose any existing ratings or reviews.
Nevertheless, you cannot remove individual reviews. So the only option is to remove the review function completely by taking your address off your page.
